It is an ability of a system to receive and deliver responses in a non-sequential order instead of waiting for one to be resolved so that another one can be resolved and responded. It is a feature of HTTP 2 which solves the problem by allowing requests and responses to be processed independently of the order in which they were sent. This makes HTTP 2 more efficient than HTTP 1.1 where Head-of-line blocking happens.
