This is a productivity system that helps you to keep your email inbox in a manageable state so you know what is important for you and what not.
Setup
- Trash - You don’t need it
- Archive - You don’t have to do anything with it, but you want to keep it just in case
- Action This Day - You have to do something about it. For example, respond to an email
Process
- When you check your email, you should decide where it should go straight away, but you should stay away from actioning on those emails. This is what you can do during your time when you do admin tasks or have a task scheduled for responding to messages, emails etc.
This process should ideally be done in the morning.
