Description

A location where you can take a shot of the Tian Shan mountains from the vast Sary-Jaz valley, located in the Eastern corner or Kyrgyzstan. Near the border with both China & Kazakhstan. The mountains you see in this image actually mark the border between Kyrgyzstan & China

Photography Tips

Best shot at sunrise. Make sure you get up early and try to get there before the sun goes down the night before so you can find the right spot - you will have to go off-road for this

Travel Information

You can park anywhere as this is not on a road. You will also need a GOOD 4x4 to get to this spot as the roads leading to it are unpaved. You will also need to pass through two military checkpoints, for which permits are required.
